Speedball Low Fire Earthenware Glazes

The Speedball Low Fire Earthenware Glazes are for use on earthenware, a low fire body that is porous until glazed. These glaze colours are intense, and range from semi-opaque to opaque. They are perfect for Majolica painting. The Clear Glaze works well over Speedball Underglaze Colours.

For best results, earthenware glazes should be used on work that has been bisque fired to Cone 4. It is best to bisque earthenware to 1 cone hotter than the glaze. Speedball Low Fire Earthenware Glaze can be fired at Cone 6.

These glazes are all non-toxic, lead-free, and easy to use.
