HORADAM AQUARELL watercolours features intense granulation strength, plus a unique colour shift effect. Schmincke formulates these colours using at least 2 granulating HORADAM pigments from different colour ranges. For example, "Deep Sea Indigo" is composed of violet and green pigments.

The organic colour and granulation effects will vary depending on factors such as the amount of water or medium used, or the surface type of the paper you utilize. To maximize the granulation effect, use a rougher, uneven surface.
