With its screw piston action, it is simple to refill a pen using this converter. Attach the converter to the nib piece from the pen with the screw piston lowered completely (turn the converter top counter-clockwise). Dip the nib end into the ink and raise the screw piston by turning it clockwise to suction up ink.
