Basswood Lengths

Basswood, slightly heavier than balsa, is also used in model making. Thinner pieces can be bent easily, and it is a stable wood that is easy to carve and sculpt. Basswood is also hypoallergenic, and resists splitting. A very soft wood, basswood may be dented or scratched from hard use.
