Balsa Wood Lengths

Balsa is used in all sorts of model building, where it is important to use a strong, light wood. Easily cut and shaped with hand tools such as utility knives and sanding blocks, it is useful in the classroom, studio, or office. Balsa is a nondescript wood with little grain pattern and limited amounts of lignin.
